He has attained excellence in various industries including automotive, retail product distribution, the food industry, construction, dry chemical manufacturing, mining and steel manufacturing. He has managed over twenty Workwell Audit compliance projects in the past year and maintained a 100% pass rate in a variety of businesses. Stanford has a B.Sc. from the State University of New York - Empire State College, a Safety Engineering Technologist Diploma and a Certificate of Occupational Hygiene and Safety from Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology.
He is also one of the only safety professionals in the United States that holds the Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation (CRSP), the Certified Health and Safety Consultant designation (CHSC) and the international Certified Safety Professional designation (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in Savoy Illinois.
Maintain and enforce clients' Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Status health and safety program for Honolulu Builders on their Kunia expansion project for Monsanto. Project Safety Person of a 20+ million dollar warehouse and farm process equipment project. The contract consisted of all phases of construction and required safety expertise in trenching, crane safety, rigging, steel erection, electrical, mechanical, lockout, scaffold, fall protection, confined space etc. The project had as many as 60 tradesmen on site at any given time. I generated a positive effect on every single worker on site allowing them to be more safety conscious;
Gather, assess, and organize information on clients' health and safety problems and issues;
Conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used;
Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding;
Identify accident causes and help clients determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future;
Evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to recommend compliance with safety standards and government regulations;
Conduct safety training sessions and education programs to management, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment;
Confer with clients concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures;
Recommend measures to help protect client's personnel from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials;
Recommend and assist the clients in the implementation of health & safety solutions in order to help them reduce their expenses related to workplace injuries and illness and thus enhance profitability;
